Enhance strategies for reading, drafting, revising, editing, and self-assessment

Reading the Merkel textbook and taking down notes in my notebook was the main way I utilized reading this semester. It made things very clear and the simple act of writing something down helped me understand and memorize important concepts and patterns. This GIF is of my notes in my notebook.

Self-assessment was also hard to avoid in this class. For each assignment, we first had to submit a rough draft of our work, and then through the help of our peers and the instructor, we could look back at our work and analyze. Using that analysis as a foundation, we edited and improved each document to make it the best version we could.
